This lovely ‘tween-ager’ happens to be a very special gal in my life.  We’ve logged many hours together as she happens to be the eldest of my grandkids.  It’s rare that she even allows me to photograph her, but when I asked whether she’d consider being a model so that I could try out some new shoot locations, she consented.  As you can see, she has personality plus and every once in a while her smile would disappear and Miss Attitude showed up.  I love that about her most!  She was a trooper despite the cold and having left her jacket in her locker at school.  Oh, and don’t tell her I posted these…or I may not get another opportunity to photograph her again.  

Happy 12th Birthday Maddie!  One day you’ll thank your Nana for having taken these. :)
