My good friend Joyce and I took a drive out to Deep Cove last week.  Deep Cove is a quaint little village approximately 13kms from downtown Vancouver on the North Shore.  This charming location draws those who enjoy ocean sports, parks, trails and quick access to the mountains.  It’s complete with heritage, theatre, organic foods, music, family get-togethers and lots of day dreaming.  We could’ve easily wiled away the time sitting on one of the many benches overlooking the water, but unfortunately it was a bit of a wet day.  Not to be deterred, we did explore a few trails and eat outside on the patio under a large umbrella at Arms Reach Bistro.  Two thumbs up!
