 Usually when I go on a trip or vacation I tell a story with my pictures.  I like to wrap it all up in a neat little package that has a beginning and an end.  We recently enjoyed a holiday at beautiful Lake of the Woods in Ontario.  A close friend invited us to his summer playground where he and his family have spent many summers in this breathtaking area.  Not really knowing what to expect, it exceeded any expectations I had, as the beauty and peacefulness engulfed me.  Specifically the ever changing sky!  AH-mazing!  I took over 550 photos and rather than try and sort through the best shots giving you a glimpse of what I saw, I thought I’d tell the story from a different perspective.  For some reason, my eye was drawn to details and simpler compositions (with the exception of the thunderstorm!) and so that’s what I’ve included in this blog.  My pictures still tell a story from beginning to end, but you will have to invite your imagination to work for you.
